Hand holding pen illustrationRefund Policy (Services)

This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by NewSky Publishing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to publishing, editing, formatting, design, and related services.

By purchasing or engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. General Refund Policy

All service purchases are considered final once work has commenced. Due to the nature of customized and time-based services, refunds are generally not provided after services begin.

Refunds, if any, are granted solely at our discretion and must be approved in writing.

2. Deposits and Upfront Payments

Deposits and upfront payments are non-refundable. These payments secure project scheduling, resource allocation, and administrative costs.

No work will begin until required payments are received.

3. Partial Work and Completed Services

If a project is canceled after work has started, you may be responsible for payment of all work completed up to the date of cancellation.

No refunds will be issued for completed portions of work or delivered services.

4. Client Delays or Non-Participation

Refunds will not be issued due to delays caused by the client, including failure to provide materials, approvals, or communication.

Projects delayed or abandoned by the client are not eligible for refunds.

5. Dissatisfaction with Services

If you are dissatisfied with a service, we encourage you to contact us so we can attempt to resolve the issue. However, dissatisfaction alone does not guarantee a refund.

We may offer revisions or adjustments at our discretion as part of service resolution.

6. No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee outcomes such as publishing success, sales performance, or distribution results. Refunds will not be issued based on lack of results or unmet expectations.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us is considered a violation of this policy.

We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks and pursue recovery of funds, including associated costs and legal fees.

8. Exceptions

Any exceptions to this policy must be approved in writing by NewSky Publishing. No verbal agreements or informal communications will override this policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NewSky Publishing shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from service-related disputes, cancellations, or refund decisions.

10. Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
